The PAC AOEM-HON Sound System Interface is a "specific application"Kit of the PAC OEM-1 interface. It allows for the replacement or addition of an amplifier incompatible vehicles with a premium sound system.Do you have a Premium factory sound system? If so, with this kit, you can easily:Replace the factory amplifier(s) and keep the factory stereo orKeep all of the factory system and add amplifiers (up to 4 channels)This AOEM Kit includes :(1) PAC OEM-1 main unit(1) AMP-RCA harness(1) ADD-HON harnessThe OEM-1 interface is transformer isolated, maintains phase and is linear from 20 to20,000 Hz. This 4-channel interface will allow the output to be adjusted to theinput requirements of the new amplifier, providing 2:1 gain and infiniteattenuation. The input connectors plug into the factory stereo and vehicleharness. The 4 female RCA output jacks plug into the new amplifier. Comescomplete with amplifier trigger wire. Just like the factory stereo system, thewarning chimes will play through the front left RCA output of the interface.Also, turning on the rear entertainment controls, if so equipped, will make therear outputs of the interface play a second audio source.Everything just plugs together (Plug & Play). When you want to take out whatever you added orchanged, just unplug it and plug in the old factory stuff. The vehicle is backto factory condition. You can use the amplifier you addedin your next leased or purchased vehicle.The OEM-1 also gives you 2:1 gain as well as infinite attenuation. This allowssignal adjustment to the correct level between the factory system and what isbeing added or changed. All four channels are individually adjusted for accuratesound levels.
